Invisalign is a system for straightening your teeth, which uses a series of clear aligners to gently move the teeth into the desired position. The aligners are nearly invisible, and you can remove them to eat, and to brush your teeth. Invisalign®, the clear alternative to braces, has been chosen by over 1.25 million people who want beautiful smiles. Here's why:
• Most people won't notice you're in treatment
• Won't disrupt your lifestyle
• No metal wires or bands to irritate your mouth
You will have a free initial examination to assess the suitability of your teeth for Invisalign treatment.
If you are a suitable candidate and decide to go ahead with treatment, impressions will be taken of your teeth and these, together with an x-ray and a number of clinical photographs, will be used to plan your treatment in a sophisticated piece of software.
You will be asked to approve a virtual animation of your tooth movements before the aligners are made by Invisalign.
Each aligner is worn for two weeks, before moving to the next one in the series – success depends upon 22 hours wear per day.
